Glad To Be Back

Firstly, I want to thank God for giving me the grace to come back after a long break of being a grandmother. The bible verse above says it all!  God has been our help as It has been a very busy but joyous three years for both my husband and I. We have been blessed with two lovely grand-daughters and a grandson. They are special gifts from God and we are very grateful. There are no words to explain the joy and excitement we continuously feel each day from being grandparents.

Since I have not retired from my current job as a Medical Secretary, I have to split my time between being a wife, mother, grandmother and a Secretary.

To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven (Ecclesiastes 3: 1)

Being a grandmother is a totally new experience and I want to thank God for bringing my husband and I to this season in our lives.

For over 30 years, we have set a day aside during the week (apart from our general/individual prayers) to specifically pray for our children regarding marriage and other issues in life.  I am confident to say that God answered our prayers as both our daughters are married to wonderful husbands who love the Lord. That makes us confident that God will also provide our sons with godly wives too.

I will encourage every parent to start praying for their children as soon as they are born – it’s never too early.  The bible also encourages us to “pray without ceasing” (1 Thessalonians 5: 17), the benefits are great and has a long-term reward.
